Exploring Sauna Therapy

A Path to Better Health and Well-being

Saunas are a proven form of heat therapy with a wide range of health benefits. By raising the body’s core temperature, saunas kickstart the natural cooling process, leading to sweating and detoxification. Heat has also been shown to boost the efficiency of your mitochondria—the cell's "powerhouses"—which is essential for maintaining both physical and mental health.

While in a sauna, your heart rate increases, providing cardiovascular benefits similar to moderate exercise and aiding in calorie burn. The heat causes vasodilation, which increases blood flow, allowing more oxygen and nutrients to reach vital organs, the brain, joints, and muscles. Saunas have a long history of use for relaxation, endorphin release, and skin cleansing.

At Aura Sweat, we offer both traditional and infrared saunas, and we recommend regular sessions to reap the full benefits.

Traditional Sauna

Our traditional saunas use heated coal stones to warm the air to about 100 degrees Celsius, encouraging a deep sweat. This intense heat creates a classic sauna experience that relaxes and detoxifies.

Infrared Sauna

Our Clearlight infrared saunas use infrared light to heat your body from within, offering temperatures between 40 and 60 degrees Celsius. This approach delivers deep-tissue benefits without the intense heat, making it ideal for those who prefer a more gentle sauna experience.
